my boyfriend dumped me like 2 weeks ago and i still love him and he says he loves me to even though he been a big jerk..and him and my best friend been talkin alot my best friend says there only friends and she wouldnt do that to me but they talk on the phone everynight and are always together and have pic's together and myspace pics and they flirt all the time and she smiles when anyone asks her if she likes him i think there is something goin on what do i do or say?

The only thing I would do is cut them BOTH out of your life completely. Your best friend is obviously not your best friend. I think she's lying about everything. Your ex boyfriend is with her and had dumped you anyway. You definately deserve better than a JERK like that. I wouldn't give them the time of day. Ignoring them will make you a better person. It's an interesting question. I thought I was in love when I was fifteen as well (I'm eighteen now) and it might have just been a serious physical attraction. I saw him in person too, we went to the same summer program. Looking back, I realize I let him control me a lot and he didn't treat me as well as he should have.

Did you know in France, saying "I love you" is like saying "I like spending time with you"? So what is love anyway? Firstly, I think that you should find a girl who you actually can see. This sounds like you want a relationship but you don't want any of the trouble that comes with them. Sometimes, you just have to deal with that stuff. Ok so i was a "geek" in HS and i got picked on, beat up the whole nine yards. so i joined a gym, gained some weight, lost the glasses and braces, and got rid of my acne. i just graduated from college and i came back home to hang out with some friends. i saw a group of girls that i went to school with that wouldnt even give me the time of day(or night) back in hs and now its all like " OMG its jeff lets take some myspace pics and start flirting with him, and try to get his GF who is standing right next to him jealous!!" lol ok maybe being a little drastic but thats how it seemed. Pls dont leave me nasty note i know its not all girls who are like this. but what are your thoughts?

And not all the blame lies on grls. Guys can be pretty shallow too. In HS, did you ever see the captain of the football team going out with an unattractive, unpopular grl? No. So don't act like it's just us grls.

I think what makes us realize how silly depending on looks really is, is when we don't have them to start with.

Two things: either those girls ARE shallow, or they're pretty excited with your transformation--and I mean that in a good way.

Usually friendships are formed because of common activities, interests, etc. Or because of some initial physical attraction. Back then the latter probably wasn't the case, thus the constant bullying. And due to that, some just can't sympathize, thus the failure to acknowledge you as who you are as a person.

Now that you've changed physically, that's a different story. Here begins the "intial" physical attraction. After all, people are more attracted to people who look better than others. Most of the time anyway.

i am 16 years old. i like this girl in my english. i'll talk to her once in a while but she know that i like her. one day before lunch my friend walked up to me and told me that she liked me and then later that day one of her friends walked up and told me that she was talking about me. the next day i walked up to her and asked her if she liked me and she said NO. i asked her if she wanted to hang out on the weekend but she said no that she was punished i also asked her phone number and she told me her parents took it away. i told one kid and that kid went on to tell everyone that i liked her. her friend sent me an email on myspace telling me that she was talking about but that she hates how some kids are all over her about this. she told me to don't give her any attention because then she is going to miss all the attention i was giving her and she was going to want me. i didnt want to do that because then she would think i lost interest in her. like sometimes she would walk up to me in the hallway and tell me to get out of her way but she would smile. another time we were messing with laptops in my english and she called me over to help her, and then there was another time that she went to go get something out of her bookbag and when she turned around i waved at her and smiled and she smiled right back. everyone told me to make a move and talk to her but everytime i would some kids would start laughing and looking at me when im bout to talk to her and that got me distracted. i hear that she is a little hoe but at first i didnt want to believe it but a couple of days ago i saw her all over some other guy. i dont know what i should do. i've had been ignoring her for 2 days as well as she has been ignoring me. but 4 days ago i ignored her but she came up behind me and pushed me but she started 2 smile and then b4 class started she came up next to me and started 2 look at my psp and 2day she says hi 2 me and tells me she can beat me in any video game and she was smiling and then y i walked by her and tapped her on her shoulder and she started to tickle me and then when i tried doing it on her she was squirming around and smiling. then yesterday i was sitting down and one friends starts calling her a nasty girl he was just playing around and then he shoved her and she said dont touch me and then i pushed her and she pushed me back. then she told me she saw my myspace pics and she was smiling. she also grabbed my brush from my pocket and started playing around with it and then put it back.she also asked me for my phone and then started to spin it around. idk then when we were in the pep rally i tap her on her shoulder and she looks at me but with a sad, mad expression but yet she had a smile. i dont not know what to do.

Wow...well, she's one of those girls who seems to like as much attention as she can get from guys. She probably has crushes a a few secret boyfriends. Hey i was wondering does anyone know what its called when you look at a picture and it changes to another but its still the same frame its not a slideshow. For example your on a website i.e. myspace and some one has a picture in their pic's but the picture is edited and animated so that it flashes a different pic like every second or so.
